Our Level 2 course gives you hands-on experience in
planning tournaments, live streaming, and setting up
your own Esports organisation. Alongside practical
industry skills, you’ll also develop con昀椀dence, teamwork,
and digital knowledge. This one-year programme is ideal
preparation for progression to Level 3 or entry-level roles
in the Esports and digital sectors.
At Level 3, you’ll dive deeper into the industry,
with advanced learning in video production, game
design, Esports coaching, event management, and
player wellbeing. You’ll also strengthen leadership,
communication, and analytical skills, preparing you
for employment in Esports and related industries—or
progression to our in-house Esports degree programme.
T Level Digital Production, Design
and Development Level 3
The T Level in Digital Production, Design, and
Development is an exciting new quali昀椀cation designed
for learners aged 16 and over, aimed at preparing them
for a career in the digital and technology sector.
Throughout the T Level, learners will develop a strong
foundation in software development, digital design,
and project management. They’ll learn to create digital
products and services, understand user needs, and
work collaboratively using the latest industry tools and
technologies. The curriculum covers everything from
coding and system design to testing and deployment,
ensuring learners gain practical skills alongside
theoretical knowledge.
At a further education college, this quali昀椀cation offers
a supportive environment where learners can explore
their passion for technology while building a portfolio of
work. It’s ideal for those looking to enter roles such as
software developers, web designers, or digital project
managers. Plus, the industry placement helps learners
make valuable contacts and understand workplace
expectations.
Bishop Auckland College’s Esports programme has
partnered with European simulator provider SimStaff,
installed a state-of-the-art F1 racing simulator, and
secured real-world employment for learner Max
Simmons, giving learners hands-on industry experience.
