Partnerships
Partnerships with employers are at the heart of our offer here at Bishop
Auckland College. By working together, we ensure our learners develop
the confidence, behaviours and technical skills they need to thrive in the
workplace. Employers play a vital role in shaping our curriculum to meet local
and national skills needs, helping us to address current and future skills gaps.
We prepare learners not only for their first job, but with the adaptability and
skills to succeed in a changing world of work.
Our Partners
We work in partnership with a wide range of organisations, including The Auckland Project,
Kynren, Livin, Pioneering Care Partnership, the Town Council, Bishop Auckland Football
Club, and Shildon AFC.
Through these strong partnerships, learners can benefit from oppotunities such as:
Apprenticeships, Coaching, Employment opportunities, Event programmes, Guest speakers,
Hospitality training scheme, Site visits, Social action projects, Training, Volunteering and Work
