CYBER SECURITY
This programme is designed to build advanced technical knowledge and skills
for work in the fast-moving cyber security sector. The programme supports
progression into skilled digital and cyber-related roles and builds on the
foundations established at Level 4.
Students develop a deeper, specialist understanding of how organisations
secure complex systems and networks, manage cyber risk, and respond to
security incidents. The programme is applied and industry-informed, featuring
realistic scenarios, case studies and a research project, alongside specialist
units such as Network Security, Applied Cryptography in the Cloud, Information
Security Management, Risk Analysis and Systems Testing, and Forensics.
