FD EDUCATION STUDIES
FD
EDUCATION STUDIES
This programme explores the principles of education from 0-19, learning
theory, child and adolescent development, inclusive practice, safeguarding,
and the wider policy landscape. It combines theory with practice, via a
programme long placement (for those not currently not currently working
in the sector) alongside academic study, preparing you for roles supporting
learning across a range of educational settings. You’ll develop critical
understanding of education from theoretical, international and contemporary
perspectives, including the impact of globalisation and technology. This full
time programme is taught across two evenings per week, making it highly
accessible for those with employment or other commitments during the day.
