This programme provides a solid technical and academic foundation in
engineering, developing the knowledge, analytical skills and professional
behaviours required for modern industry. You will explore key areas such as
Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Design, Quality and Process Control,
Industry 4.0 and Production Engineering. Delivery can be tailored to suit
subject specialisms or a particular pathway, consisting of a blend of subjects
both unique and common to different engineering disciplines. For example;
Thermodynamics, Operations and Plant Management or Electrical Systems and
Fault Finding. All are supported through access to industry-standard equipment
and software. Learning is delivered through a blend of lectures, practical
workshops and employer-informed projects designed to mirror real engineering
environments and expectations. By the end of the programme, you will have the
confidence and competence to progress academically or professionally within
the engineering sector.
