PERFORMING ARTS
This programme develops skills in acting, movement, voice, improvisation,
devising, directing, and performance for the performance industry. You will take
part in regular workshops, rehearsals, public performances and industry-focused
creative projects that mirror professional practice. Units explore areas such
as professional development, research skills, production techniques, musical
theatre, small-scale touring, and devised performance. Learning is delivered
through practical workshops, ensemble work, performances, lectures, seminars
and masterclasses with visiting practitioners. Assessment is varied and includes
live performances, creative projects, written assignments and production work,
helping you develop a versatile portfolio suited to today’s performing arts
industry.
