Higher Education Partnerships
We are proud to offer high-quality Higher Education through respected
partnerships with leading awarding bodies and universities. These collaborations
ensure our students receive industry-informed teaching and recognised
qualifications that support progression into skilled employment or further study.
We are a validated partner of The Open University, enabling us to deliver a suite
of university-level programmes including Foundation Degrees (FD), BA/BSc
(Hons) and Top-Up Degrees, Master’s-level study (MA) with our students enrolled
on these programmes graduating with a qualification which carries the reputation
and recognition of a nationally respected university.
We are approved to deliver Pearson Higher Nationals (HNC/HND), internationally
recognised technical and vocational qualifications designed with employers in
mind. These programmes offer a practical, career-focused curriculum which
directly aligns to industry skills needs, with progression routes into employment or
Top-Up degrees.
We work in partnership with NCFE, one of the UK's leading awarding
organisations, to deliver our Initial Teacher Training qualifications. These
programmes support aspiring educators to develop core pedagogical knowledge,
professional practice skills, understanding of inclusive teaching, confidence in
planning, assessment and classroom delivery.
We have partnered with the North East Institute of Technology to help deliver
higher-level technical training that meets real industry needs. Through this
collaboration, learners gain access to state-of-the-art facilities and specialist
pathways in advanced manufacturing, engineering, construction and digital.
Together, we’re creating stronger opportunities for learners and employers across
the North East.
