Access to Higher Education
Our Access to HE Diplomas provide a supported and flexible route
into university-level study for adults who have not yet achieved a
Level 3 qualification. Designed specifically for learners returning to
education or considering a change in career, these intensive oneyear programmes develop the academic skills, subject knowledge and
confidence needed to progress successfully into Higher Education.
Many of our Access graduates go on to study their degree with
us here at Bishop Auckland College, joining a supportive learning
community with small class sizes and dedicated HE support.
We offer Access to HE Diplomas in: Education, Health Professions,
Humanities and Social Science, and Policing and Criminology
— providing clear pathways into a wide range of university-level
programmes and rewarding career sectors.
