Student Finance
Tuition Fees and Funding
Most Higher Education students can apply for a Tuition Fee Loan from
Student Finance England to cover the full cost of their programme. This
means you do not need to pay tuition fees upfront — the loan is paid
directly to the College on your behalf.
Maintenance Loans
Eligible full-time students can also apply for a Maintenance Loan to help
with day-to-day living costs such as accommodation, travel, food and
study materials. The amount you receive depends on your household
income and whether you live at home or independently.
Additional Support
Depending on your circumstances, you may also be entitled to extra
financial support, including:

Parents’ Learning Allowance
Childcare Grant
Adult Dependants’ Grant
Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA)
These forms of support do not need to be repaid.
Part-Time Students
Part-time learners can apply for a Tuition Fee Loan, and may be eligible
for a Maintenance Loan depending on their programme intensity and
circumstances.
