The McIntyre Centre
The McIntyre Centre is Bishop Auckland College’s dedicated adult learning centre, welcoming
adults aged 19+ who want to learn something new, refresh existing skills or take the next step
in work or life.
Every year we welcome adults who are changing careers, returning to work, building
confidence with technology, refreshing English and Maths skills, supporting their children’s
learning, preparing for further study, or simply learning for the enjoyment of it.
Whether you’d like to improve your English, Maths or Digital Skills, gain practical skills for
everyday life and work, or meet new people in a friendly and welcoming environment, our
experienced tutors are here to help. With small class sizes, flexible learning and a relaxed
atmosphere, you’ll learn at your own pace and work towards goals that matter to you.
