Fees & Funding Support
If you are aged under 19, full-time courses are free. For over-19s, fees vary according to your
circumstances and the type of course you are studying.
If you meet any of the criteria below you may be eligible to enrol on your chosen course
for FREE*:
• You have an income below £32,000
• You are on means tested benefits
• It’s your first full level 2/3 (if you are aged 19 to 23)
• You qualify for the Government’s ‘Free Courses for Jobs’ initiative
• If you do not have GCSE grade C/4 or higher you can study English and maths
qualifications up to level 2
If you don’t qualify for your course free you may be able to apply for a loan (Advanced
Learner and Higher Education)*:
• You need to be over-19 to apply
• You need to be a UK resident
• It is not means tested or credit checked
• You only pay back once earning £25,000 a year
We also offer means tested Learner Support Funding* to assist with:
• Course fees
• Kit/uniform
• Travel
• Childcare and more
