PLUMBING
LEVEL 1 PLUMBING
Kickstart your career in plumbing with this hands-on, practical course designed to give
you the essential skills and knowledge for success in the trade. Whether you’re aiming
to become a qualified plumber or move into a related field such as gas or heating
engineering, this course provides the perfect foundation. You’ll gain experience in key areas
including pipe bending, jointing techniques, tap and valve maintenance, rainwater systems,
basin and WC installation, and workplace health and safety. Our expert tutors bring years
of real-world industry experience and will guide you through practical sessions in our
fully equipped plumbing workshops. By the end of the course, you’ll have developed the
confidence, technical skills, and understanding to take the next step towards a rewarding
career in the plumbing industry.
LEVEL 2 PLUMBING
Building on the skills and knowledge gained in the introductory course, this next stage
delves deeper into the technology, systems, and professional practices that define modern
plumbing. You’ll expand your understanding of both practical and theoretical aspects,
exploring areas such as health and safety, electrics, domestic hot water and heating
systems, cold water systems, sanitation, central heating, and drainage. You’ll also discover
how plumbing connects with other essential construction trades, giving you a broader
industry perspective. Training takes place in specialist plumbing workshops equipped
with industry-standard tools and systems, where you’ll gain hands-on experience installing
radiators, sinks, taps, and sanitary fittings. Guided by expert tutors with years of professional
experience, you’ll refine your technical ability and problem-solving skills—preparing you for
further study, an apprenticeship, or direct entry into the plumbing and building services
industry.

ENGINEERING FOR
CONSTRUCTION (PLUMBING)
Build the skills and experience to launch
your career in plumbing. This twoyear Level 3 T Level combines practical
training, technical knowledge and a
minimum 315-hour industry placement.

repair plumbing and building services
systems, using industry-standard tools,
